Córdoba's cuisine is recognized throughout much of Spain and even the world. One of the facilities to which this reputation is attributed is Tabersus. This eatery was formerly known as the famous Taberna Bar Santos.
It is known internationally for its most important dish: a potato omelette made from a good extra virgin olive oil, firm potatoes and fresh eggs.
In addition to its exquisite taste, this dish is also of an unmatched size. The tortillas reach a weight of up to five kilograms (11 lb) and a thickness of 14 centimeters (5.5 in).
It is also worth mentioning that the restaurant presented its oxtail dish at the 2018 national competition "Ruta Sentero y el rabo de Toro" in which it reached the semi-finals. A considerable 555 restaurants from all over Spain took part in this contest.
So if you feel like trying one of the delicacies of the house, the restaurant is very easy to find. It is located at the backside of the Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral, directly at Plaza del Triunfo Square.
