Welcome to one of the most traditional taverns in town. What today is known as Taberna Santi has been indulging guests with tradional plain food for more than a century.
Found in the heart of the historic district, numerous of the so-called Fernandine Churches, as well as other monuments, are located in urgent vicinity. Apart from this, this neighborhood hosts many of Cordoba’s major festivities, including carnival, Easter processions, May Cross celebrations and the Patios Festival.
This typical Andalusian tavern with its beautiful patio, painted wall tiles and its traditional decoration was formerly known as Casa Castillo. Since the new management took over and renamed the eatery in 2015, this tavern continues its dedication to serving great food at reasonable prices.
Taberna Santi serves delicious tapas and dishes, prepared according to traditional local receipes. Braised oxtail, Flamenquín and Cordoba-style Salmorejo are only some of the culinary delights that have been convincing guests for decades. Guests should not miss to try potatoes with tuna or Lacón, a salted and air-dried ham specialty.
Apart from that, the tavern has a rich breakfast offering, as well as the right choice for the sweet tooth in between, including Churros (a deep-fried pastry) or waffles with coffee.
