Luque - Bike Trail Vía Verde del Aceite

Discover the beauty of the hilly Andalusian landscape between Cordoba and Granada with its numerous places to see - the Vía Verde del Aceite (Green Olive Oil Trail) offers an ideal opportunity to do so. Following the route of former regional rail lines, nature lovers can explore the landscape undisturbed and environmentally friendly on foot or by bike.

The 112 kilometers (70 miles) long bike trail that runs through the provinces of Jaén and Córdoba passes by the town of Luque. On its way, it crosses olive groves reaching to the horizon and passes picturesque villages. Thanks to the mostly gradient free route, the Vía Verde del Aceite is also suitable for less trained people or families with children who want to explore the region.

For breaks, the bicycle trail offers several rest areas that are equipped with benches and tables, trash bins and bike racks.
