Traditional Feast of Villanueva de Cordoba
(Fiesta de la Matanza y de la Artesanía Popular) 2023
Organized by the town council of Villanueva de Córdoba, this provincial town hosts a new edition of its traditional Fiesta de la Matanza and de la Artesanía Popular on February 11, 2023.
Consolidated in the local cultural calendar, this event brings together the gastronomic tradition of this town with a wide range of activities, including musical performances, visits to local sights, exhibitions. Worth mentioning are tastings of gastronomic items, as well well as different workshops where participants may get familiar with how a slaughter is carried out and how pork products are being manufactured.
Feast visitors will be able to taste the products of the slaughter while enjoying different popular folklore performances that are typical for the Los Pedroches region.
