Patio Museum - Palacio de Viana (Viana Palace)
Located on the northern edge of historic downtown Cordoba, the ancient Viana Palace is home to a special kind of museum - the so-called Patio Museum.
This traditional Andalusian mansion features as many as twelve patios, all beautifully arranged and decorated and absolutely worth seeing - not only when the art of gardening and planting is concerned.
The halls of the house harbor a collection of firearms, historic furnishing and paintings as well as a library with more than 7,000 volumes.
In May, on the occasion of the annual Patio Festival, the Patio Museum openes its doors at free admission.
