La casa del Agua (Water Museum)
Unique in Spain, the museum La Casa del Agua is dedicated to the use of water in Cordoba from a historical point of view. In five exhibition rooms, the museum teaches its visitors basic knowledge about the customs of local residents and the development of water use in the city over time. It also illuminates the difficulties that sometimes existed in obtaining, transporting and storing this vital resource.
The museum puts a particular focus on the period between the end of the 19th century and the middle of the 20th century. That way, you gain insight into a variety of aspects related to the topic of water and get a complete and real picture that enhances your own knowledge and also encourages reflection on the handling of this precious resource.
The exhibition is rounded off by a number of interesting finds. So visitors can admire archaeological remains and elements from different eras. You can also see ethnographic collections as well as pictorial and audiovisual information material.
