The activities offered by the young entrepreneur Mara de Miguel are dedicated to persons of all ages and include participation in an olive oil seminar with miller's breakfast, a tour of a typical courtyard with flower tasting, a wine and cheese tasting as well as a salmorejo cooking class.
Olive oil seminar and miller's breakfast
76% of the world’s olive oil is produced in the provinces of Cordoba and Jaén. A visit to Córdoba offers the opportunity to learn more about this world-renowned product during a guided olive oil tasting.
Quite perfect for couples, this experience begins daily at 8.30 AM with a visit to a traditional market hall which is found at Plaza de la Corredera Square. Afterwards, participants will buy bread, which is then used to prepare a rich mouthwatering breakfast.
During breakfast, the participants will taste five different high-quality virgin olive oils of different varieties such as picual, arbequino or picudo. A taste experience that inspires everyone.

Flower tasting and Patio tour
A traditional Cordoba patio provides the backdrop for a unique food experience: participants will taste edible flowers.
At the tasting, participants taste clove, geranium and begonia flowers accompanied by two wines from Cordoba, two olive oils and two different types of cheese.
After the tasting, the participants will visit three different patios, where they have the opportunity to talk to the courtyard keepers. The activity a great experience for groups and families.

Wine and cheese tasting
Discover the flavorful connection between quality wine and cheese which is made according to traditional craftsmanship.
At the wine and cheese tasting, known as Maridaje, participants taste different wines from the Montilla Moriles denomination (reds, fortified wines and still whites) one after the other, accompanied by goat cheese, cheese aged in olive oil or blue cheese.
During this experience, participants will also taste a wonderful vermouth and learn about the art of pouring wine straight from the barrel, known as Venencia.

Salmorejo class
Who says cooking is boring? At least in this cooking class, participants not only have a lot of fun, but also learn how to prepare the famous salmorejo cordobés the right way. After your return from Spain, surprise family and friends with your newfound cooking skills.
With a glass of wine in their hands, participants will also learn what a so-called Perol Cordobés is and how to prepare it. Already curious?
