Getting there
The town of Carcabuey in the geographic heart of Andalusia. Monumental cities like Cordoba, Granada, Jaén and Malaga are a driving hour away, the state capital of Seville just two hours.
Found at state route A-339, linking the A-45 (Córdoba – Málaga) and national highway N-432 (Granada – Badajoz), Carcabuey is conveniently accessible from all directions.
From Cordoba: Take freeway A-45 direction Málaga and exit at Lucena (Norte)-Puente Genil. There take A-318 direction Lucena and follow the road until Cabra. Take the exit at Cabra Este (km. 47) direction Priego de Córdoba - Alcalá la Real. Go ahead on A-339 until you reach Carcabuey.
From Granada: Take the national highway N-342 direction Córdoba. Exit at Alcalá la Real direction Priego de Córdoba and follow A-339 until you reach Carcabuey.
From Málaga: Take freeway A-45 direction Córdoba. Exit at Lucena (Norte) – Puente-Genil (km. 56) and take A-318 direction Lucena and follow the road until Cabra. Take the exit at Cabra Este (km. 47) direction Priego de Córdoba - Alcalá la Real. Go ahead on A-339 until you reach Carcabuey.
From Seville: Take freeway A-92 direction Granada-Málaga. Leave at Estepa die Ausfahrt (exit km. 106) and follow A-318 direction Herrara, Puente Genil, Lucena. When reaching Cabra (exit km. 47), turn onto state route A-339 direction Priego de Córdoba – Alcalá la Real. Follow the rad until the Carcabuey exit.
