Taberna Rafaé is one of Cordoba’s popular taverns, having a place in the hearts of locals and visitors. Found in the narrow Deanes street, adjacent to the famous Mezquita, Cordoba’s former mosque and present-day cathedral, the tavern enjoys a privileged location.
The cuisine of the house offers more than 80 dishes that are based on traditional recipes from the region. Thus, it is not easy to make a selection from the variety of meat and fish dishes, stews, vegetable dishes and fresh salads.
Guests of this traditional eatery may enjoy another one of the “highlights” the Judería quarter is famous for: the uncomparable light and ambiance that virtually can be breathed anywhere around this quarter, is flooding in from Deanes and Buen Pastor streets, creating a special atmosphere.
By the way, these two streets are Judería’s major arteries, leading Cordoba visitors directly to the Rafaé tavern.
