Just a few yards from the Great Mosque, the tavern is harbored in a monumental town house dating back to the 16th century. The house may look back at a rich history.
The house was home of poet and historian Garcilaso de la Vega, who was. due to his south american heritage, known as “El Inca” (the Inca). Also, by mid 20th century the house was film location of the movie “El Cristo de los Faroles” with Antonio Molina starring.
