Taberna Casa Bravo
C/ Puerta Almodóvar, 14003 Cordoba

Welcome to this excellent tavern. Thanks to its favorable location, it is another great place to rest from extensive sightseeing expeditions. Only a few steps apart from the ancient Almodóvar Gate and within reach of some of the most remarkable monuments in town, the Casa Bravo (translated as “Wild House”) is an ideal choice for having lunch or dinner.

The house is well known for its homemade regional specialties. Recommendable are Casa Bravo’s meatballs, the excellent Salmorejo and Gazpacho (cold served Cordoba style soup dishes), as well as venison roast and oxtail

The tavern is owned by Francisco Javier Torres Hernández, who has been continuing with managing the tavern since September 2005. He is intended to make this tavern a number one destination in Cordoba and to tie in with the establishment’s long running history of more than one hundred years. The building itself looks back at 300 years of history.

The tavern is providing a familiar atmosphere. It provides space for about 45 persons. Due to its location and the fact that there is a multilingual service, it is recommendable for tourists.
