Bodega San Basilio C/ San Basilio 29, 14004 Cordoba
The San Basilio Tavern is nestled in the heart of the homonymous San Basilio quarter which is also known as Alcázar Viejo. Due to the location of major attractions and monuments in immediate vicinity of this tavern, it is a perfect place to interrupt your sightseeing experience and have some great tapas or the one or other dish the bodega has to offer.
Although opened in 1994, the San basilio tavern presents itself as a historic and traditional tavern. The interior’s decoration reflects a postcard-perfect bullfighting ambiance with numerous bullfighter’s photographs and posters covering the walls.
Thus, it is no wonder that celebrities of the bullfighting scene, including Torero Manuel Benitez or the famous medic Dr. Concha, are among the guests of this neat place.
