Bar El Patri

200 years of serving great food - this is what El Patri stands for. Opened in 1820 as an eatery and inn for traveling vendors, El Patri is still serving some of the best tapas in town.

Over the last generations, the owners had put together a variety of typical Cordoba dishes.

The top speciality is the so called Salmorejo (cold served tomato cream), absolutely a must when being in town. Worth mentioning are El Patri’s croquettes, fried Choco (calamari) and potato omelet.

The pignolia chicken, prepared after an old recipe, is another highlight to choose from the extensive menu list.

The interior shows historic pictures of Corredera Square. But if you prefer to enjoy your tapas outside, be sure to do so on the large terrace El Patri provides.

Especially in warm summer nights, when it is amazing to observe the people on the square while having an excellent local wine or a glass of fresh beer (you may chosse from eight beer brands), the terrace is a must.
