200 years of serving great food - this is what El Patri is standing for. Opened in 1820 as an eatery and inn for traveling vendors, El Patri is still serving some of the best tapas in town.
Over the last four generations, the owners had put together a variety of typical Cordoba dishes.
The top speciality is the so called Salmorejo (cold served tomato cream), absolutely a must when being in town. Worth mentioning are El Patri’s croquettes, fried Choco (calamari), oxtail and potato omelet, just to name a few.
The pignolia chicken, prepared after an old recipe, is another highlight to choose from the extensive menu list.
The interior shows historic pictures of Corredera Square. But if you prefer to enjoy your tapas outside, be sure to do so on the large terrace El Patri provides.
Especially in warm summer nights, when it is amazing to observe the people on the square while having an excellent local wine or a glass of fresh beer, the terrace is a must.
So come enjoy the delicious tapas and the beutiful scenery. For outstanding service El Patri has received a recommendation by the Regulatory Board (Consejo Regulador) of the Montilla-Moriles denomination.
