Restaurant Caballerizas is committed to retaining and cultivating local culture. Therefore, the restaurant organizes the cultural cycle Vive el Flamenco, an introduction into the art of Flamenco. accompanied by a tasty meal.
Tuesday through Sunday, interested persons can choose between two rounds to attend the course: the first beginning at 12.30 pm and the second beginning at 7.30 pm. Famous flamenco masters will introduce attendants in the basics of the art of flamenco.
Among them is well-known guitarist Alberto Lucena, honored with the national guitar award (Premio Nacional de Guitarra), who celebrates the authentic nature of flamenco like no other.
Each course lasts about two hours and is held in small groups of up to 15 attendants. If desired, courses can be held in English or French.
Each course is crowned by a joint meal (lunch or dinner, depending on the time) where attendants may enjoy what local cuisine has to offer. The menu includes traditional dishes such as Salmorejo, Iberian ham and braised oxtail. The food is accompanied by fine wines of the Montilla-Moriles denomination. On request, vegetarians can be accommodated, too.
