Casa Museo Arte sobre Piel Leather Museum
Located on the historic site of the city center, close-by the famous Mezquita Mosque and Cathedral, the Leather Museum brings visitors into touch with an ancient tradition that the founder of the museum prevented from oblivion.
The tradition of crafting leather is a historic and artistic legacy that was developed in the Caliphate of Cordoba in the 10th century. The creation of these artful items is unique in the world. From there, visitors should not miss the museum - they won’t see these artworks elsewhere in the world.

The museum features five halls with many artful and precious Cordobanes, Guadamecis and other leather items, as well as tools and information regarding the art of leather development.
The admission fee is as low as three Euros, and kids under twelve years are free.
In the museum’s reception area there are two showcases with miniature craftwork that may be purchased as special gift or souvenir.
