La Carmen
Located in Calle del Portillo Street, adjacent to a medieval town gate, La Carmen is situated half way between Museum Julio Romero de Torres and the Museum of Archaeology. It is truly worth a stop. Once you have entered this neat shop in the ancient part of Cordoba, you’ll know you are at a very special place in town.

This small store is specializing in selling accessories, jewelry and decoration, as well as objects of art.
In contrast to many other stores that are selling those items, La Carmen’s owner Adriana points out that all articles that are available here are uniques created by herself.
So shoppers will find beautiful handmade and handcolored fans and foulards, esthetic necklaces and other unique jewelry.
The window displays as well as the store decoration are in the style of a typical old town house, inviting to quarry for the one or other personal gift or whatsoever.
Additionally, various silver collections of designer Luis Celorio are on sale.
The fine sandalwood odor and a smooth background music accompany the visitor’s walk through this beautiful outlet. La Carmen is open daily, except for Sunday evenings.
