This rural guesthouse is beautifully nestled in the Sierra de Hornachuelos natural park. The town of Posadas is just two kilometers (1.2 mi) away. The regional capital city of Cordoba is accessible via route A-431 in just 25 minutes.
The one-story building features four air-conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area with chimney and a fully equipped kitchen. The outer area offers a porch, a large garden, a pool, a barbeque and parking facilities. A private tennis court gives this property special attractivity.
While at Casa rural Manolín, guests may just relax or enjoy plenty of activity. Thanks to its location in the heart of the natural park, there are several hiking routes where nature lovers can immerse themselves into the unspoiled biota of the Sierra Morena mountains. Deep valleys and gorges, created by Bembézar, Guadiato und Retortillo rivers, amidst huge oak forests give hikers a great natural experience.
Further activities that can be followed include horseback riding and clay pigeon shooting. Just ten minutes away guests find water sport facilities and places for fishing. Also recommendable is a visit of the Posadas city limit park which is a good place to relax too.
Of course, neighboring towns and villages are worth a visit: think of Palma del Río with its beautiful town center, Guadalcázar with its natural scientific museum, Almodóvar del Río with the stunning medieval fortress looking over the entire valley, Hornachuelos with Huerta del Rey visitor center, Ecíja with its famous towers or the ruins of ancient Medina Al-Zahra palace town. And not to forget the city of Cordoba which was a medieval melting point of oriental and occidental cultures, then providing unparalleled beauty and glory.
