At the entrance of Sierra Subbética natural park, in the South of the province of Cordoba and therefore in the heart of rural Andalusia, Cortijo de Frías is located amidst wide olive groves. Cortijo de Frías provides an ideal “framework” to leave everyday life behind. Guests may simplay relax or experience a wide range of leisure time activities, sport and adventure.
Although newly built, the rectangular construction with a spacious patio area reflects all characteristics of an ancient rural homestead.
A large dining hall welcomes guests for having tasty regional specialties. If desired, the Cortijo de Frías team creates special dishes after advance notification. The etsablishment provides space for business meals and family reunions and even smaller conventions.
Vacation Homes
Cortijo de Frías has six vacation homes with each featuring living room with TV and chimney, the single and one twin bedrooms, kitchen with all appliances, bathroom and washhouse. Of course, towels and linen are included.
Joint Accommodation
Additionally, Cortijo de Frías provides six joint accommodations with capacity for up to tens persons each. Each of these vacation units has a living room with chimney, four bedrooms, a bathroom and a washhouse. Linen is available, as well. All accommodation is equipped with central heating.
Active Tourism
Cortijo de Frías is organizing a wide range of activities, including horseback riding and “walks to the wild side” that will bring exciting and unforgettable experiences.
Horseback Riding
Together with the La Garrocha horse farm, Cortijo de Frías organizes, if desired, riding tours of the beautiful natural park landscape. Rides ranging from several hours to multiple days are available.
Multiple Adventure
“Boredom” is a word no one at Cortijo de Frías knows, hence there are unlimited adventure activities to do. Just think of hiking through areas rich in cultural heritage, biota and geology.
