La Barandilla is a rural guest house being located in the heart of the small town of Villafranca de Cordoba, just a few miles east of the provincial capital city of Cordoba. Not far from the Sierra Morena Mountains and the Guadalquivir River and just 15 highway minutes away from Cordoba, La Barandilla provides a cozy and relaxating stay in rural Andalusia, away from the normal course of life.
The rural guest house is nestled in the historic center of Villafranca, in a 19th century building. When the house underwent restoration, the owners paid special attention to keeping the original character of the building, so that guests may immerse themselves in how rural Andalusians used to live in ancient times.
The two-story buidling provides two different areas. While the ground floor harbors a typical patio and a small museum displaying historic household and work utensils, the upper floor is for accommodating the guests. Here you may find three fully fitted apartments.
With capacity for accommodating a total of 2 to 14 persons at a time, La Barandilla is a great choice for framilies traveling with their kids as well as for groups.
